Raw Silk Jacket Inspiration

The peacock is a resplendent bird, with its impressive train of iridescent feathers and regal strut. The term peacock is properly reserved for the male; the female is known as a peahen, and the immature offspring are sometimes called peachicks. In the Australian colloquial vernacular, a 'peacock' is a male who likes to strut around for attention, often shirtless at the gym.

However, our 'Peacock Feather' Raw Silk Jacket is far more humble about its beauty. The aqua, blue and cream silk threads are interwoven with black in an open weave to create a geometric interpretation of the peacock feather. It is a subtle beauty with endless potential.
