Raw Silk Jacket Inspiration

A goanna is any of several Australian monitor lizards of the genus Varanus. It is a creature that features prominently in Aboriginal mythology and Australian folklore (and a common playground taunt to any Australian child named 'Anna': "Go, Anna!"). Varying greatly in size and markings across the various species, the goanna is as mighty as it is small.

The 'Goanna' Raw Silk Jacket is a traditional herringbone weave with a complementary mix of royal purple, matte gold and black silk. Much like the goanna itself, the beauty of this jacket is found up close in the details. Offering a smooth twist to a dark jacket, the 'Goanna' Raw Silk Jacket is the type of piece that can be worn from dusk till dawn.
