Raw Silk Jacket Inspiration

Lava is molten rock generated by geothermal energy and expelled through fractures in planetary crust or in an eruption, usually at temperatures from 700 to 1,200 °C (1,292 to 2,192 °F). The resulting structures after solidification and cooling are also sometimes described as lava. In general, the composition of a lava determines its behaviour more than the temperature of its eruption. Highly viscous lava tends to flow slowly, whilst low viscosity lava flows easily, forming puddles, channels, and rivers of molten rock.

With this natural wonder as inspiration, the ‘Lava’ Raw Silk jacket embraces the inferno with its molten red and ash black silk in a classic weave. Taking on the properties of high and low viscosity lava, this jacket will slowly and easily form its own channel in the style stakes.
