Raw Silk Jacket Inspiration

Bornite, also known as peacock ore, is a sulfide mineral with a chemical composition that crystallises in the orthorhombic system (pseudo-cubic).

Peacock ore has a brown to copper-red colour on fresh surfaces that tarnishes to various iridescent shades of blue to purple in places.

The ‘Peacock Ore’ Raw Silk Jacket perfectly captures the striking iridescent colours of its namesake. Golden silk is interwoven with pink, purple, blue and green in an open weave, paying a humble tribute to the cubic formation of this mineral. A standout piece, this jacket will transform any outfit to the upper limits of style.
