Raw Silk Jacket Inspiration

Wave Rock is a natural rock formation that is shaped like a tall breaking ocean wave, located at Hyden Wildlife Park, east-southeast of Perth, Western Australia. Wave Rock has cultural significance to Ballardong people. Local tribes believed that the rock was a creation of the Rainbow Serpent, and was created in his wake by dragging his swollen body over the land after he had consumed all of the water in the land.

Inspired by the graceful lines in the sediment of this natural rock formation, the 'Wave Rock' Raw Silk Jacket is a striking mix of golden and purple silk with contrasting black in a vertical weave. With such a dazzling combination, this jacket is certain to the be highlight of any ensemble.
