Resplendent in its leopard and layered floral paisley motifs, The Secret Wardrobe of Sir Frankie Crisp is Joe Banana’s homage to the mystical and emotive songwriting style of George Harrison on his All Things Must Pass album.

In 1970, having purchased and taken up residence in Friar Park, a Victorian Gothic Mansion at Henley-Upon-Thames, Oxfordshire, the former Estate of Sir Frank Crisp, Harrison made his tribute to his home’s former owner by way of a song titled his Ballard of Sir Frankie Crisp. Co-produced by Phil Spector, the track is ethereal and psychedelic yet folky and rolling with the repetition of lyrics “Let It Roll”, as we take, what feels like a cinematic journey through the Estate and its grounds. May this jacket transport you there in style.
