Bertie was the latest addition to the chatter of Budgies the budgies, and had an unfortunately short stint on Planet Earth. Bertie was regularly seen taunting the neighbour’s cat from the safety of his cage until one day, Lisa, aged 7 left the latch to the Avery unlocked. Bertie, along with Bruce and Birgitta all suffered a swift exit from life. This shirt is for Lisa who always made sure she locked the latch from that day on.
