INSPIRATION
Fire or Flame Opals are much loved for their iridescent bright golds, reds and oranges; their intensity resembling a flame bursting from inside the gem. By classification, they are a transparent opal, usually without play-of-colour. However, they exhibit striking flashes of pinks, violet, teal and emerald.
In this Flame Opal weave, loops of yarn, known as boucle, are used to tease out a huge variety of seemingly endless colours amidst the dominant glowing oranges and golds. Like the Joe Bananas Black Opal weaves, this jacket can be paired with literally any colour you can name!
