Raw Silk Jacket Inspiration

Uluru (Pitjantjatjara: Uluṟu), also known as Ayers Rock , is a large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory in central Australia.

Uluru is sacred to the Pitjantjatjara Anangu, the Aboriginal people of the area. The area around the formation is home to an abundance of springs, waterholes, rock caves and ancient paintings.

The sight of this striking rock formation is truly breathtaking at any time of day, but particularly so in the evening light. The 'Uluru Nightview' Raw Silk Jacket - as part of the Stringybark collection -  is a respectful appreciation of this sacred site. The dusk magenta and black silk are handwoven in a stringybark weave, reflecting the colours of the rock at night and its fissured surface. This jacket is an elegant addition to a wardrobe and will bring bold style to any outfit..
