Raw Silk Jacket Inspiration

Houndstooth checks originated in woven wool cloth of the Scottish Lowlands. It is a duotone textile pattern characterised by broken checks or abstract four-pointed shapes. The classic houndstooth pattern is often favoured by our beloved Australian farmers, so naturally we dedicate the 'Wheat Houndstooth' to the warriors of our rural outreaches.

The 'Wheat Houndstooth' Raw Silk Jacket is a delicate mix of black, navy, tan and white silk. The houndstooth weave is comprised of what we like to consider ninja stars, so whilst the look may be classic, the gentleman wearing it is hiding many talents.
